The Khalif's donated $20,000.00 to JECTP to start the organization.

The Mayor's Office of Employment and Training (MOET) of the City of Newark awarded JECTP a grant to train 30 youth for the 1999 Summer Youth Employment Program

PSE&G awarded JECTP a grant to train and work with five (5) youth.

MOET of the City of Newark awarded JECTP a grant to train 30 youth for the 2000 Summer Youth Employment and Training Program

JECTP Received a contract from The National Council on the Aging to provide business training to senior citizens (ages 55 and older).  The participants were then eligible to work as Managers/Mentors on JECTP Business Projects

The Newark Housing Authority awarded JECTP a grant to train 50 youth from various housing sites.

JECTP training was expanded to include a more detailed Life Skills Counseling Program for at-risk youth.  To achieve this goal, JECTP solidified a collaboration agreement with the Bronze Shields, Inc.
